According to him, with the joint efforts of relevant units, in June 2021, this project achieved "four unifications" (unified vehicle appearance, unified driver license plates and work clothes, unified rural passenger transport signs, and unified supervision and complaint platform) in all 21 cities (prefectures) and 183 counties in the province, and explored and established a new model of rural transportation development with "one network for multiple uses" (passenger transport network, postal express network, logistics network, tourism network), "one station for multiple functions" (passenger station, mail distribution center, tourist distribution center), and "one person for multiple positions" (passenger driver, mail courier, policy propagandist, public security information officer), providing a good example for the development of rural transportation across the country.

Regarding the next development plan, Luo Jiaming said that Sichuan Province will seize the opportunity of incorporating the "Golden Transportation Project" into the pilot program for building a strong transportation country, and focus on building a new pattern of high-quality development of rural transportation from five dimensions: sustainable service, sustainable development, sustainable safety, sustainable supervision, and sustainable policies, and strive to build transportation that satisfies the people.

Convenient transportation also makes Xiangyangzhuang Village a famous tourist destination in the vicinity. Villagers have opened fishing parks, picking gardens and farmhouses according to local conditions. Villagers working outside the area have gradually returned to their hometown to start businesses and find jobs. The dilapidated houses in the village have been renovated, and the village has taken on new vitality.

The integration of transportation, culture and tourism is worth looking forward to

How to tap their value and achieve the integrated development of "transportation, culture and tourism"?

"In 2019, I submitted a proposal on establishing a national list of transportation heritage and cultural routes, hoping that all sectors of society would pay more attention to exploring the cultural value of transportation," said He Yunao, a member of the National Committee of the 中文 People's Political Consultative Conference and a well-known expert in the field of cultural heritage. "Carrying out research and protection and utilization of transportation heritage and cultural routes can improve our understanding of the status of transportation civilization and the significance of the survival of transportation culture, and better continue development and create the future," said He Yunao.

Free delivery to remote areas

Some time ago, a video titled "Hello, China Post" went viral on major short video platforms. In the video, the staff member's domineering response that "China Post can deliver anywhere within the territory of the People's Republic of China" made everyone take a new look at China Post, which is the result of the continuous efforts of several generations of postal workers.

In September 2014, the Central Nationalities Work Conference clearly proposed that all villages in ethnic minority areas should have postal service by 2020. "This is a difficult battle. The 36,000 villages without postal service are mainly concentrated in remote border areas, which are the most difficult 'hard bones' to chew," said Ma Xulin, member of the National Committee of the 中文 People's Political Consultative Conference and director of the General Services Department of the State Post Bureau.

In order to implement the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, the postal system has listed it as a key task of "serving the people and doing practical things" for many years. From 2018 to 2019, the central government allocated 450 million yuan, and the governments of Tibet, Qinghai, Ningxia and other provinces (regions) provided financial and policy support, which provided a strong guarantee for achieving the goal of direct postal service. At the same time, postal enterprises increased investment, coordinated and optimized the allocation of resources such as delivery networks, routes and personnel in rural areas, added 3,042 delivery routes, added 3,159 delivery vehicles, and added 5,697 rural postmen, with a total investment of about 950 million yuan.
