Recently, the Anhui Provincial Department of Transportation issued the "Anhui Province Smart Transportation Construction Plan (2021-2023)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"). The "Plan" focuses on five aspects: basic capabilities, industry governance, industry services, scientific and technological innovation, and support and guarantee. It focuses on building an overall framework of "1 digital brain, 4 key field applications, and 1 set of support and guarantee", and promotes 11 special actions and 34 specific tasks to help Anhui's smart transportation construction.

The "Plan" is guided by the relevant plans of the state and the ministry and province for the construction of smart transportation. The province coordinates planning, overall management, unified construction, and unified standards, taking into account the construction priorities of various fields, systems, and units, vigorously promoting the informatization process of industries and enterprises, and promoting large-scale system integration, data integration, and business collaboration. In the overall architecture, "1 digital brain" refers to the construction of a smart transportation big data center; "4 types of key field applications" are comprehensive applications, smart highways, smart ports and shipping, and smart transportation; "1 set of support guarantees" refers to strengthening the construction of standards and norms and promoting transportation science and technology innovation and industrialization development.

In the next step, the Anhui Provincial Transportation Comprehensive Law Enforcement Supervision Bureau will, in accordance with the requirements of the Provincial Department of Transportation, further study and clarify the work promotion mechanism for smart transportation construction projects; strengthen organizational leadership, clarify the division of responsibilities, and jointly promote smart transportation construction tasks; refine the work schedule, implement checklist management, and efficiently promote the implementation of construction tasks.
