Recently, at the exit of Zhanggang Toll Station on Fuzhou Airport Expressway in Fujian Province, truck driver Master Jiang breathed a sigh of relief after driving his car into the parking area of the "Driver's Home" of Changle Xiangfu Logistics Park. "Here I can stop and drink some hot tea, and I can also lie down and take a nap to recuperate," said Master Jiang.
The "Driver's Home" in Changle Xiangfu Logistics Park, Fuzhou, has 600 parking spaces and 187 rooms. It can provide hot water, hot tea, an open self-service kitchen, 24-hour bathing and other services for drivers and passengers. There are also computer rooms, gyms, movie viewing areas, book bars and other functional areas. Since its completion, it has received an average of more than 8,400 drivers per month. This year, the Fujian Provincial Department of Transportation will include the construction of "Driver's Home" in the "I Do Practical Things for the People" project list, accelerate the construction of 14 "Driver's Homes", plan to build and put into use 8 new ones, and improve the service quality of the existing 9 "Driver's Homes".
