During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, Anhui's transportation infrastructure system construction has made remarkable progress. Facing the 14th Five-Year Plan, there is still a lot of room for improvement in the process of integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta. Wang Qingxian pointed out that it is necessary to further play the basic, leading and strategic role of transportation, continue to make transportation the key direction of investment in the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and moderately advance the construction of a modern transportation system. First, we must benchmark the goal of the integration of the Yangtze River Delta infrastructure system, identify the gaps and shortcomings, clarify the direction and focus of breakthroughs, and comprehensively promote the optimization and upgrading of Anhui's comprehensive transportation system. Second, we must take project construction as a starting point, vigorously promote the concentrated efforts of expressway construction, continuously improve the level of high-speed rail network, accelerate the construction of trunk shipping network and modern port groups, highlight the shortcomings of civil aviation development, and continuously improve the level of integrated connection and integrated development of various modes of transportation. Third, we must strengthen the basic work of transportation construction, improve the mechanism of departmental coordination and coordinated efforts, plan in advance to do a good job in the planning, design, environmental impact assessment, factor allocation and other preliminary work of key projects, and promote the early start and construction of projects. Fourth, we must fully mobilize the power of the market, widely gather the power of capital, actively promote the reform of the investment and financing system of transportation infrastructure construction, and inject strong momentum into the construction of the transportation system.
