Recently, Shanghai's first industry digital transformation "white paper" - "Implementation Opinions on Digital Transformation of Shanghai's Transportation Industry (2021-2023)" (hereinafter referred to as "Implementation Opinions") was officially released. The "Implementation Opinions" put forward three major tasks: "building digital facilities to promote new transformation of the transportation economy", "strengthening digital supervision to form a new model of industry governance", and "promoting digital services to innovate new scenes of transportation life", and listed a list of 60 digital transformation projects, including smart rail, autonomous driving, smart ports and shipping, etc.

The Implementation Opinions pointed out that in the next two years, Shanghai's transportation industry will comprehensively build a "new scenario" for digital transportation. It will promote a new model of government-enterprise integration, focus on high-quality travel services and efficient logistics services, establish and improve a comprehensive coordination and promotion mechanism, build a benchmark project for the digital transformation of the industry through scenario traction, and create a number of pilot demonstration scenarios with strong comprehensiveness and wide application.

In terms of travel services, Shanghai will explore a one-stop travel model, establish a joint promotion mechanism between government and enterprises, realize real-time, panoramic, and full-chain transportation information data sharing and interconnection, integrate existing travel service systems such as map services, bus arrivals, and smart parking, and promote the construction of a Mobility as a Service (MaaS) system; enrich individual travel scenarios, and deeply promote digital life demonstration scenarios such as "convenient parking" and "one-click taxi calling". The "Shanghai Parking" App will deepen the construction of four major service scenarios: "one map for query, one platform for payment, one-click for sharing, and one entrance for reservation", so as to realize one-map query of the distribution information of various parking facilities in the city.

The Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission will seize the new development opportunities brought about by the new round of scientific and technological revolution and digital revolution, follow the development connotation of digital transformation of "overall transformation, all-round empowerment, and revolutionary reshaping", and lay a solid foundation for supporting the digital transformation of the city.
