The reporter learned from the Transportation Bureau of Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province that Guangzhou has completed nucleic acid testing for a total of 153,000 front-line urban transportation personnel, and all test results were negative. The city has set up 10 special nucleic acid testing points for trunk truck drivers to provide free nucleic acid testing services.

Starting from May 29, the Guangzhou Municipal Transportation Bureau, together with the Municipal Health Commission, set up 30 nucleic acid testing sampling points across the city to carry out nucleic acid testing on front-line urban transportation workers. A total of 20,000 front-line employees at subway stations, 27,000 bus drivers, 33,000 taxi drivers and 73,000 online car-hailing drivers were tested.

For truck drivers, Guangzhou has set up 10 nucleic acid testing points for trunk freight drivers in Baiyun District, Nansha District, Huangpu District, Huadu District, Panyu District, and Zengcheng District. The service hours of each testing point are from 9:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 18:00 every day. Truck drivers can be tested with a valid vehicle driving license, professional qualification certificate, driver's license (for driving type B1 and above) and a green "health code"; if they have been vaccinated with the new crown vaccine within 24 hours, they must be tested again 24 hours after the vaccination.
