Now it is connected to Huoju Road in Jining to the south, and is also connected to the new G327 National Highway and Jiyang Road." Recently, Wang Chuankui, secretary of the Shi Village Party Branch in Yandian Town, Yanzhou District, Jining City, said happily while pointing to the newly built Huoju Road in the east of the village. "This road is both wide and flat, and it is more convenient for the people to sell seedlings and vegetables..."

As of the end of October this year, the newly built Torch Road, Juxing Road and Jiyang Road in Yanzhou District, Jining City, Shandong Province have been fully put into use, and the 44.4-kilometer rural road reconstruction project has also been completed and put into use, marking the full completion of the three-year "Four Good Rural Roads" campaign. The entire district has built a rural transportation network that is "connected to the outside world, connected to villages and towns, safe and convenient", which has become a road to rural revitalization.

Huang Jian, secretary of the Party Committee and director of the Yanzhou District Transportation Bureau of Jining City, introduced that Yanzhou District of Jining City has invested a total of 187 million yuan in rural road construction in the past three years, implemented more than 80 kilometers of road network renovation and upgrading projects, 158.5 kilometers of road condition improvement projects, and 40.3 kilometers of rural road safety and life protection projects, with a project qualification rate of 100%.

Yanzhou District of Jining City actively explored and established a new model for the management and maintenance of rural roads, carried out grid-based and area-based management of county roads, township roads and village roads in the district, clarified responsibilities, standardized operations, and formed a three-level rural road maintenance team with district traffic law enforcement officers, town road supervisors and village road guards, realizing the precise, grid-based and full coverage management of rural roads in the district. Up to now, the total mileage of rural road maintenance in the district is 864 kilometers, including 96.7 kilometers of county roads, 110.8 kilometers of township roads and 656.5 kilometers of village roads.

Yanzhou District extends bus routes wherever rural roads are built. "We have established a primary bus network from urban areas to towns and a secondary bus network from towns to villages, making it more convenient for rural residents to travel by bus." Mu Baoguo, general manager of Yanzhou District Bus Company, Jining City, introduced that at present, the district has 20 rural bus passenger routes, 18 school bus routes, 10 customized routes, 545 shuttle buses in operation, and a 100% traffic rate in towns. Three intercity buses from Yanzhou to Jining, as well as customized buses from Xiaomeng Town to Jining and Da'an Town to Jining, have also been opened to meet the diverse travel needs of rural people.

Relying on the rural road network, Yanzhou District of Jining City has built a three-level rural logistics distribution system with "multiple functions at one point, one network sharing, complete functions, efficient operation, and deep integration", and provides logistics support for rural revitalization by combining rural freight routes with rural passenger buses. At present, the district has built 10 district-level express distribution centers, 10 town-level service centers, and 106 village-level service points.

Yanzhou District of Jining City has also opened a special rural tourism bus line in Xiaomeng Town, connecting rural tourism attractions such as the "Mengli Hometown" National 3A-level tourist attraction, the "One Mu Tian" and "Harmony Lake" National 2A-level scenic spots, the Suhu Village Chrysanthemum Garden, and the Liangcun Picking Garden. The line passes through 24 villages and 4 new rural communities, promoting the development of industries along the line such as flower viewing, fruit and vegetable picking, leisure and entertainment, and rural sightseeing.
